Tirana Municipality opens applications for 1200 soft loans! Criteria and procedures to follow

Homeless families in the capital will have the opportunity to benefit from a loan interest subsidy for the purchase of a home.
The Municipality of Tirana announces the opening of the call for applications in the loan interest subsidy program for families and individuals in need of housing.
This is thanks to the cooperation between the Municipality of Tirana and the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation.
The application process starts on December 12, 2024 and ends on January 13, 2025.
All citizens who have applied before the date of this announcement must re-apply on the government portal " e-Albania " after the announcement of the public announcement.
Interested individuals/families must complete the application request on the "e-Albania " government portal, selecting the " Request to benefit from social housing programs" service.
Application to the system must be determined in order of forms of treatment based on the preferences of the applicant selecting to be treated with housing through the Low Cost Housing program.
In the absence of Low Cost Housing you should choose Loan Interest Subsidy.
The basic criteria for the pre-selection of the request submitted by individuals/families interested in benefiting from the " Loan Interest Subsidy" program.
1-Individuals who have reached the age of 18 at the time of submitting the request.
2-Families who, at the time of submitting the request, do not own a home.
3- Families that own living space below housing standards.
4- Families that have income within the defined limits.
The second stage (submission of documentation) will follow with a second public announcement.
In order to help the citizens, any individual/family who self-declares to be disabled or unable to access the electronic communications network, can be directed to the administrative unit for assistance in completing the application on the e-Albania portal.
Since the arrival of Erion Veliaj at the head of the Municipality of Tirana, the "Loan Interest Subsidy" program was reopened after it had been closed by the previous administration.
This program focuses on improving the living conditions of families and young couples, who do not have the economic ability to afford the offer of the free housing market or that of mortgage loans in the market.
The purpose of this project is to support families and young couples in buying houses, with the aim of improving their living conditions.
