Today, the euro reached the historical minimum in relation to the lek since the day it started to be used as the currency of the European Union. The Bank of Albania reports that one euro was exchanged today at an average of 99.33 ALL, as never before.
The Euro had a bad start to the week while expectations were for it to recover somewhat from the points it lost at the end of the week we just left.
The European currency has thus started to lose points in relation to the lek, a trend of recent years, but which has accelerated during these weeks.
The US dollar against the Lek is in similar circumstances. The USD lost 0.33 points against the Lek during this Monday, falling to 89.33 Lek.
Meanwhile, the British pound hovers at an average of 118 lek against the lek.
