On January 4, 2025, the application of the road fee will start in the segment of the Blue Corridor, Thumanë-Kashar. The announcement was made officially by the concessionaire company "G2-INFRA".
" This new axis offers a safer, faster travel experience and constitutes one of the most important infrastructural arteries of Albania" , announces the concession company.
At the beginning of November, the Deputy Prime Minister, at the same time the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku announced that over 2.5 million vehicles had crossed the Thumane-Kashar segment, from June 28 to September 30.
The Thumanë-Kashar road axis, of 21 kilometers, highway category A of the European Union, the first segment of the Blue Corridor, which precedes the new construction sites Thumanë - Milot, Kashar - Lekaj, Lekaj - Fier, and Milot - Balldren was opened for circulation at the end of June.
The road offers high safety conditions and standards. This axis significantly facilitates movement by avoiding traffic and shortening travel time.
