How many consumer loans were received by citizens? Loans for durable and non-durable goods increased by an average of 1.7%

The loan for the purchase of a house is what is most requested by the citizens, but obviously the consumer loan, i.e. the one used for the purchase of durable or non-durable goods, is not far behind.
The data from the Bank of Albania show that the loan for the purchase of non-durable goods reached ALL 46 billion at the end of September. This loan received by citizens to cover expenses for food, cigarettes, drinks, fuel, cosmetics, cleaning products, clothing, or shoes, has increased by almost 1.5% compared to the previous month.
On the other hand, the credit for the purchase of durable goods, which, in contrast to the goods mentioned above, are not consumed with one use and have a higher lifespan, was recorded at 22 billion ALL at the end of the nine months. The purchase of cars, household appliances, furniture, toys and others, has been covered through this loan since, compared to the month of August, it has undergone a small increase of 1.3%.
From these figures, the total consumer credit in ALL is 68 billion ALL, an increase of 1.7% compared to August. Of the 218 billion ALL that is all the credit received by individuals at the end of September, 134 billion is only for housing purchases.
In other words, 61% of the loan received in Lek was used for the purchase of housing by individuals, 21% of the total value is the purchase of durable and non-durable goods, 10% for the purchase of equipment, 4% for overdraft and for the purposes of other./ SCAN
