"Pink October without Mammography"/ Oncology with out-of-function machine, women are left waiting

For several days, the mammography machine at the Oncology Hospital of the University Hospital Center has been out of order.
Women who present for medical check-ups are instructed to only have a breast ultrasound examination, due to a technical defect in the equipment.
There is no information yet on when it will be fixed, writes Report TV.
Women cannot have mammograms during the month of October, known as "Pink October," when doctors call for screenings for the prevention and early detection of breast cancer.
