The rude reason why hand dryers should not be used in public toilets
A researcher has conducted an experiment that shows the reasons why blow dryers should be avoided in public toilets.
In other cases, it has been warned that these tools are not very hygienic, but the British network Ladbible says that the government there has removed the option of paper towels and people now have no other choice.
Researcher Ruth - known on the web as Devon Science - has recently revealed how unhygienic these tools are, in a video that has been viewed 4.7 million times. She places a microscope slide under the hand dryer to collect what the air blows out of it.
Analyzing the results a day later, she looks at the plate under the microscope filled with different types of bacteria and fungi, while yellow spots had formed on it.
In another video, Ruth rubs the glass of the experiment on toilet paper and here again bacteria appeared, but not as much as in the air of the hand dryer.
But where do all these bacteria come from in the toilet air?
After some experiments, Ruth said: "Now I think I know where the bacteria come from, they actually live inside the machine."
The researcher did not specify the type of bacteria, but one of the commentators said: "It is scary that if you work in health and they remove the tissue paper, you are forced to use these tools."
While another concerned citizen wrote: "I don't use dryers anymore after seeing these videos, better shake your hands, or wipe a little on your clothes", concludes the LadBible network.
