Serbian analyst: The dialogue is dying, if no solution is given in two weeks
Serbian analyst Dushan Janic said in Euronews Albania where he said that tensions between Serbia and Kosovo may continue.
According to him, if something is going to change, it should be done now. He said that a clear message should be given against these terrorist attacks.
" This is the moment! Everyone is waiting for the new administration in Washington, in Brussels we also had a few different ones. Also, the previous commissioner was not very good and should connect it with the terrorist attack that happened in Iber.
I knew that something would happen from Brussels and they would send a message to Vucic and Kurt that they would have to manage better and they wanted to eliminate the security propaganda part, that is, use the security issue to get votes. Prishtina had these elections very early, Belgrade, on the other hand, is in a panic situation, maybe in March there will be local elections, and maybe also the parliamentary ones.
Maybe this is a moment where you can't talk about security because the politicians are doing their job, the dialogue is just in a corner dying. For me personally, if during two weeks we do not hear clear signs from the contacts, especially from Washington, if they do not express the first message, zero tolerance for your games with security, stop with these things. The second message "if you really want to manage the democratic environment for the Serbian minorities, because their status has to determine the status of Kosovo. "Albanian politicians must understand that Kosovo will never be recognized as a state if it does not solve this problem in a democratic way ," Janiç said.
