Azgan Haklaj recounts his acquaintance with Adem Jashari: He had a patriotic spirit, he made a sublime sacrifice

The trial of KLA leaders in The Hague may take an unexpected turn after new evidence emerged that challenges the prosecution's narrative. During the show 'Dekalog', Azgan Haklaj revealed a very touching testimony from Serbian mother, Rusha Drašić.

In her statement, Drašić recounts how the KLA not only did not commit crimes against her family, but saved her two sons, who had been forcibly taken by Milošević's army to fight in Kosovo.

'Those KLA boys defended their homes, while Milosevic came and took my boys by force. Thanks to God and the Liberation Army, they live free in Germany today,' Haklaj quotes from her statement. This testimony is considered strong evidence that overturns the accusations of 'joint criminal enterprise'.

The conversation then took a personal turn, with Haklaj sharing memories of his acquaintances with iconic KLA figures, including legendary commander Adem Jashari and hero Agim Ramadani. He recited verses written by Ramadani before his fall, revealing the spirit of an artist and patriot who was aware of the sublime sacrifice he was making for the freedom of his homeland.

These memoirs emphasize the human and idealistic dimension of the KLA's war, contrasting it with the accusations raised in The Hague.
