The Basic Prosecution Office in Ferizaj has requested from the Basic Court of Ferizaj to impose a 30-day detention measure on the suspect FL, from the village of Pleshinë e Ulët, on suspicion of the criminal offense of "Aggravated Murder", according to the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
According to the Prosecution, there is a well-founded suspicion that on January 23, 2025, in the afternoon, in the mountains of the village of Manastirc in the Municipality of Ferizaj, FL cruelly deprived the victim BV of his life, for reasons still unknown.
After committing the murder, he buried the victim in a deserted place, in order to hide and eliminate the traces, and left the scene, Kosovo media write.
The victim's lifeless body was found on February 5, 2025 by several people from the village of Manastirc, who notified the authorities of the incident.
Following this development, FL was arrested and is under 48-hour detention on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "Aggravated Murder", pursuant to Article 173, paragraph 1, subparagraph 1.4 of the Criminal Code.
The prosecution has requested that he remain in custody for 30 days, while continuing investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
