PHOTO NEWS/ Protest in support of former KLA leaders in The Hague, Kadri Veseli's sons leave for Tirana

Today, in "Skënderbej" Square in Tirana, a nationwide protest will take place in support of the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, who are facing trial in The Hague.
The protest, which will start at 5:00 PM, is organized under the motto "Freedom has a name" and is expected to gather citizens from all Albanian regions. The rally has been called by the KLA War Veterans Organization and is supported by various associations of former fighters, as well as citizens from Albania, Kosovo and the diaspora.
In a sign of solidarity with the participants, the government has decided that Rruga e Kombit will be toll-free on Friday, to facilitate the movement of citizens traveling to Tirana for the protest.
Also, the Municipality of Pristina has taken over the organization of transportation for citizens who want to join the protest, making special vehicles available for the trip to Tirana.
The protest follows activities held in recent days in Kosovo and in The Hague, in support of former President Hashim Thaçi, former Speaker of Parliament Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selim, who are facing charges before the Specialist Chambers.
And it is now learned that Kadri Veseli's sons will join the expected protest, while Hashim Thaci's son will not be present.
Organizers have called for a peaceful and dignified rally, as an expression of unity and the demand for justice for the former KLA leaders. A similar protest was previously held in The Hague, while a similar protest is expected to take place in Skopje.
