Kosovo, CEC certifies Voter List for October 12 elections today

This afternoon, the Central Election Commission will hold its next meeting, where the Voter List for the Local Elections for Mayors and Municipal Assemblies, which will be held on October 12, 2025, is expected to be certified.

This was announced in the CEC's warning notice for the meeting, which will be held at 3:00 PM.

Also, at this meeting, the CEC is expected to determine the exact number of ballots that will be printed for this electoral process, as well as determine the formula for the composition of the Polling Station Councils that will be engaged on election day at polling stations.

This is the full order of business for today's meeting:

Introduction: Mr. Kreshnik Radoniqi, Chairman of the CEC meeting;

Review and approval of the minutes of meeting No. 51, 52, 53 and 54/2025; CEC Councils:

3.1. Electoral Operations Council

3.1.1. Review and approval of the recommendation for determining the formula for polling station councils for the 2025 Local Elections;

3.1.2. Review and approval of the recommendation for determining the formula for counting teams in Municipal Counting Centers

3.1.3. Review and approval of the Recommendation for setting the maximum number of voters at polling stations for the 2025 Local Elections;

3.1.4. Review and approval of the Recommendation for determining the number of polling stations in conditional voting centers for the 2025 Local Elections;

3.1.5. Certification of the Voter List for the 2025 Local Elections;

3.1.6. Review and approval of the number of ballots and brochures to be printed for the 2025 Local Elections;

3.1.7. Review and approval of the content and final design of ballots and candidate brochures for the 2025 Local Elections;

3.1.8. Review and approval of the decision to supervise the process of printing ballots, brochures and voter lists for the 2025 Local Elections. Miscellaneous.
