Kurti inaugurates the "Skifteri" drone produced in Kosovo

Prime Minister Albin Kurti inaugurated on Saturday the first drone produced in Kosovo, "Skifteri", built by the company "Future Minds Academy" in Gjilan.

Kurti stated in a Facebook post that this is an important step towards the development of the defense industry and drone production.

"We are building and developing the future of the defense industry and the advancement of combat drones in Kosovo. Our country is becoming a country that produces," Kurti wrote.

The "K1" kamikaze drone reaches a maximum speed of 180 km/h and a flight altitude of up to 2,500 meters.

The "Skifter" drone operates up to 5,000 meters in altitude, with a range of 20 kilometers and a speed of 270 km/h.
