A company of Greek soldiers within the 2nd Multinational Battalion of KFOR's Operational Reserve Force has left Greece for the Bondsteel camp in Kosovo, as the Greek army website announces "to contribute to the immediate reaction capability" of NATO in the Kosovo region", writes the Kosovar media.

"The 2nd Multinational Battalion of the Operational Reserves consists of a Multinational Command with a corresponding staff, which consists of personnel from Greece, Albania, Bulgaria and Romania and whose command until December 2024 is held by our country," the announcement states. .

It is further emphasized that this is the second time that Greek army forces are deployed in Kosovo, after the first deployment that took place from September to December 2023.
