Albana Vokshi got into trouble with the police, Zhupa called the Guard while

Debates in the Health Investigation Commission have continued even after the cameras have been turned off. Report TV informs that the two democratic deputies Ina Zhupa and Albana Vokshi, after the end of the meeting, went to the hall where the former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, was standing and argued with the officers of the Prison Police.

It is learned that Zhupa and Vokshi asked them to return Beqaj to the cell, but the officers told him that they should get an order for this. Vokshi responded by saying that the order is given by the Assembly, while Zhupa is known to have called the Guard and told them that she feels unsafe and threatened by the presence of Ilir Beqaj in the Assembly.

In these moments, the Police acted by removing Beqaj and after that the two political parties also left the Assembly.

The Health Investigative Committee lasted until the early hours of this morning, where the debates between the MPs of the opposition and the majority continued without stopping.

At one point in the meeting, Ilir Beqaj, who had been waiting for hours in the corridors of the Assembly to testify, entered the hall and debated with the democrats, mainly with Ina Zhupa. The latter addressed Beqaj, saying "who are you who threatens us", while the head of this Commission, Albana Vokshi, demanded that Beqaj be sent to the cell.

The former minister also reacted to this this morning. From the cell, Beqaj rejected the accusations that he had threatened the democratic deputies, as he emphasized that he will not allow his dignity to be trampled on even though he is in custody.

"According to the Code of Criminal Procedure, even for a detainee in case of interrogation or judicial process, the stay does not depend on the time of the permit, but the duration of the relevant hearing. I entered the meeting room just one step from the door and I openly expressed my revolt for the mockery to the point of torture that had been going on for more than 14 hours. I did not threaten or insult anyone.

Indignantly, I told deputy Zhupa that I have been waiting there since 10:30. Even if I am detained, I do not accept to be insulted and taken under foot. I reject this, oppose it and will continue to oppose it. In 8 months of investigations by the commission, all the witnesses have proven that the two concessions under investigation are success stories. I don't allow the political failure of the opposition MPs to interfere with my dignity",  says Beqaj in his reaction forwarded by the lawyer.
