Astrit Patozi and his party return for the elections, assemble the structures

Bindja Demokratike held a meeting with its highest national forum this afternoon in Elbasan. The county coordinators participated in this meeting where some of the current issues of this political force were discussed, but also the developments for the primaries.
Astrit Patozi, in a statement to the media, said that Bindja Demokratike will compete alone in the local elections. Although it is clear that Bindja will be an opposition force.
For the coordinator of Democratic Persuasion for Elbasan, Erion Murataj, the time has come for young people to lead in politics.
Although the names of the candidates have not yet been made official, the race in Elbasan is expected to be strong.
It is not known how Astrit Patozi, who resigned on May 2, 2021 after the disappointing result he received in the April 25 parliamentary elections, returned to the head of the Bindja Demokratike party, when he declared that he took responsibility for this result and therefore leaves the leadership the party founded by him in April 2019.
"Thanking once again the candidates, supporters and all the voters of Democratic Persuasion in the elections of April 25, I have decided to take all the responsibilities for not achieving our electoral objectives and resign from the leadership of the party", he declared then.
In the April 25 parliamentary elections, Bindja Demokratike received 8,238 votes across the country or 0.52% at the national level. Astrit Patozi was a candidate for deputy in the District of Tirana, where BD secured a total of 2,469 votes while there were 830 preferential votes.
