The head of PD-Euro-Atlantic Democrats, Lulzim Basha, has responded to Berisha's attacks.
In a reaction on Facebook, Basha writes that the former prime minister has turned into a tool of Edi Rama, helping him shift attention away from the government's corrupt affairs and its ties to crime.
According to him, Berisha has accepted Rama's support for personal interests, leaving the opposition in the shade and harming the democratic cause.
Basha wrote to me that he will continue to work to offer the democrats a reliable and honest alternative, emphasizing the importance of representation and political integrity.

Unfortunately, Sali Berisha's files have turned her into Edi Rama's asset, which he uses to keep public debate away from the government's countless corrupt affairs and its horrific ties to crime.
It is shameful that Berisha agrees to be under the patronage of Edi Rama, to whom he gave the votes to amnesty his corrupt, to close the lists, for the next bargain with the Constitutional Court, and in return, he got the stamp through a decision scandalous, that Berisha uses not to serve the opposition, but his problems with justice.
It is understandable, that politically Berisha cannot exist without an enemy, so as long as the Bermuda Triangle is tightening its ranks in the confrontation with SPAK, there is only me left with whom it can deal with to throw funny jokes in public Therefore, we are more determined than ever not to leave the democrats without a proper and reliable alternative, with which they feel represented, honored and not betrayed.
