Basha responds to Berisha's attacks: For his trouble, he has taken PD

The head of the Democratic Party-Euro-Atlantic Democrats, Lulzim Basha, has responded to Sali Berisha's attacks where he says that it is a great sadness for his divisiveness and that three years ago he asked him to leave with dignity so as not to "die" politically in shame.

In his post on Facebook, Basha says that the concern is no longer Berisha's plight, but the undermining of the opposition and serving Rama.

According to him, Berisha took the party to protect himself from the USA and Great Britain and that he sold the elections to Edi Rama so that in exchange he would get the stamp of the DP.

Basha further states that Albania deserves more than the united cooperative Rama-Berisha, who work only for their own interests, against the interests of Albania.

Basha's full reaction:

It's sad that after three years of deception and failures, you continue to listen to the rants of Sali Berisha. What I asked him three years ago is to leave with dignity and not to "die" politically in shame.

He clearly chose the latter. But I am no longer concerned about Sali Berisha's personal plight, but the fact that because of his plight he has taken the Democratic Party hostage and is undermining the opposition by serving Edi Rama.

As I said three years ago, time is the best medicine and carries the greatest truth.

Today, there is no Albanian who does not know and did not see that Sali Berisha wanted DP to transform him into his shield in front of justice, USA and Great Britain. There is no dignity left for the one who sold the elections to Edi Rama in exchange for a stamp, the one who combined the votes with Edi Rama to amnesty Edi Rama's corrupt people while prosecuting the democratic protesters, the one who combined the votes with Edi Rama to close the lists, giving more power to Edi Rama.

Albania deserves more than the united cooperative Rama-Berisha, who work only for their own interests, against the interests of Albania.
