The Chairman of the Democratic Party - Euro-Atlantic Democrats, Lulzim Basha, participated in the panel organized by the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils, in the presence of policy makers and leaders of important global corporations, regarding the impact of technology and Artificial Intelligence on society and the market. work.

Basha spoke about the economic program of the EU-Atlantic democrats, which aims to transform Albania into a regional technological center. 

He emphasized the importance of investments in technology and Artificial Intelligence for the economic development of the country.

Basha said that the plan includes a deep reform in university education, which will enable the preparation of young people for a modern labor market. Also, professional training for 25 thousand young Albanians in the field of technology, offering competitive salaries and opportunities for young people to develop within the country.

According to rij, the program also foresees a flat tax of 9% and support for private initiatives, with the aim that the new economy offers stability and hope for the new Albanian generation.

It was a pleasure to discuss the vision of the Euro-Atlantic Democrats for the new government of the country, in a panel organized by the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils, in the presence of policy makers and leaders of important global corporations, regarding the impact of technology and Artificial Intelligence on society and the labor market.

With an incredible potential of talented young people, Albania has every opportunity to become a regional leader in the field of technology and attract large investments. 

We have designed an economic model that encourages private initiative and free enterprise, supported by a small and transparent government, to adapt to new challenges.

New economy for a new generation, next generation" is our program for Albanian youth.

 University education will undergo a deep reform, which aims to enable Albanian universities, in cooperation with the future government, foreign and local investors, to produce not only young people with degrees, but professionals prepared for a market jobs with endless opportunities for the future economy and information technology.

Within the first four years, we are committed to the professional training of 25 thousand young Albanians in the field of information technology, in four large campuses that will include the best experts from Europe, Ireland and Albanians who excel in this field . This will enable these 25 thousand young people to be professionals ready for a job market, with an average salary not lower than 2000 euros per month.

For 5,000 young people who do not attend university, but who will be trained through professional courses, and for 5,000 newly graduated students, we will offer paid internships for one year, with a minimum wage.

This safe bridge to work, together with the flat tax of 9%, will enable young Albanians to see with hope the possibilities of a new economy, a dynamic economy that offers security and opportunity.
