Budget 2026/ RTSH Director, Eni Vasili: We want additional funds for financial survival

The Director General of Radio Television of Albania, Eni Vasili, stated that this institution's request for additional funds in the 2026 budget has not been met. She emphasized that the request is not about luxury, but about the need for financial survival and maintaining the public service standards that citizens expect from RTSH.

"The request for additional funds has not been met. The measures taken by us have reduced the debt by up to 30%. However, 250 million lek is expected to be carried over until 2026. This situation makes it necessary to increase financial support for RTSH to ensure financial stability.

" In the financial conditions we find ourselves in, this is our request for financial survival and the maintenance of RTSH standards ," Vasili declared, while acknowledging the Parliament's support as essential for guaranteeing a sustainable, modern public broadcaster at the service of every Albanian at home and abroad.
