Accused by SPAK, Rama removes Belinda Balluku from Political Director for Tirana

Ogerta Manastirliu has been appointed political leader for the Tirana region. This is the next move made by Prime Minister Edi Rama, who made the decision public today, stating: “We support the Municipality to do its best for the budget and for this reason we thought of Ogerta as the political leader of the region, but also as a member of parliament for Tirana.”
This position was previously held by Belinda Balluku, whom Rama has decided to remove.
We recall that Ogerta Manastirliu was a candidate for the Municipality of Tirana, but the Constitutional Court suspended the elections in the capital, leaving the current mayor, Erion Veliaj, in office.
His dismissal was declared illegal by the Constitutional Court and, as a result, Manastirliu will continue her work as a member of the Albanian Parliament, while also taking on a new political position in the capital.
