The Institution of the President of the Republic has reacted after the Constitutional Court's decision to suspend the decree setting the date of the partial local elections in the Municipality of Tirana.
In a press release, the Office of Media and Public Relations at the Presidency states that the court's decision will be respected in accordance with constitutional principles.
"In response to media interest, we would like to inform you that the Institution of the President of the Republic respects the decision of the Constitutional Court to suspend the part that determines the date of the local elections in the Municipality of Tirana of decree no. 350, dated 01.10.2025," the announcement states.
