Tomorrow, March 4, the NATO military base in Kuçovo will be inaugurated with modern infrastructure for the Alliance's warplanes.
This Sunday, the Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi, has today shared on social networks images from the air base while writing that he will raise Albania's profile on the international stage, strengthening our country's commitment to security and peace in the region.
" One more day from the inauguration of the NATO Tactical Air Base in Kuçovo, a big step in strengthening our military capacities. This important development not only raises our profile on the international stage, but also strengthens our commitment to peace and security in the region ," writes Peleshi.
For this base, NATO has invested approximately 50 million euros and more than 5 million euros have been invested by the Albanian government. During the inauguration tomorrow, there will be a wide participation of NATO representatives as well as the defense ministers of Turkey and Italy.
