Journalist Klodiana Lala has revealed new details from the SPAK file related to one of the most sensational criminal events of recent years. On the show "This Week" on News24, she said that the arrest of Enea Kume, brother of Socialist Party MP Loer Kume, is related to the execution of Edmir Bregu in January 2021.
According to Lala, it is a murder ordered in revenge by Astrit Avdyli, otherwise known as the leader of the Avdyla group. SPAK's investigations, also based on the decoding of encrypted SKY ECC communications, show that the order to eliminate Bregu came after Avdyli's nephew, Aldo Avdyli, was targeted for assassination, which was suspected to be directly related to Bregu.
In this criminal scheme, according to the file, Enea Kume played the role of informant, helping with data on the victim's movements. Meanwhile, Alfred Doka, who is believed to have acted in return for payment, is suspected of being used to execute the assassination.
Lala stressed that this development marks another significant blow to structured criminal groups, while the case is expected to open a series of other investigations related to gang conflicts.
