The deputy of the Democratic Party, Saimir Korreshi, has indicated that the health condition of his colleague, Lefter Gështenjës, is stable.
Korreshi said that Gështenja had left the Assembly hall in the corridor after having breathing problems from a disc herniation.
"He has been doing therapy for disc herniation for a long time. Today he is totally blocked. We suspected that he was having a heart attack and he was immediately transported to QSUT. His condition is stable. There is nothing from the heart, according to the doctors.
They are pain from a friend that transforms into breathing. There was a fainting and tearing from severe pains. At that time, he was in the corridor as he was not feeling well with his breathing, at the door he just left the plenary session", Korreshi told News24.
Among other things, the democrat emphasized that there were nurses in the Assembly, but it was the colleagues who held her by the arms because of the severe pain she was having.
" The ambulance is always there, but at that moment we had nowhere to position him because his pain was so strong that he could neither sit nor stand. There were nurses, but I won't say how it happened, it was such a quick situation", Korreshi added.
The democratic deputy, Lefter Gështenja, was sent to QSUT this Thursday morning. He felt bad from a herniated disc while in the Assembly and immediately afterwards he was transported to the hospital.
