The head of the Euro-Atlantic Democrats, Lulzim Basha, held a meeting with the management structures of the branch in Vlora, where they discussed the continuation of the political action and preparation for the upcoming elections.
Basha has stated that the completion of the identification of candidacies for MPs is a priority, according to which the team should be ready as soon as possible to give citizens time to get to know them and to convey through them the program presented on June 1.
" Rama's taunts and insults with the people of Volonia prove that the most corrupt government in Europe has nothing left to give to citizens and businesses, who pay the costs of political and fiscal irresponsibility that causes poverty and depopulation. Our government program, with the flat tax of 9%, profit tax of 9%, personal income tax of 9%, dividend with the flat tax of 9% even for the self-employed, will breathe life into the economy, ensuring welfare for all. . The program drawn up by the best local and foreign experts will be delivered to every city and village by our team, to prove to the citizens that we have a clear vision to get out of the current crisis, which has turned Albania in a manor for a select few of the old political and economic caste. Therefore, all our energy, of the structures we have in Vlora and across the country, must go to the citizens, to communication with them, without being hindered by those who want to keep the debate on issues that have nothing to do with the problems of Albanians. Politics is service to people, not self-service for politicians, so let's deal with the alternative that Albanians expect." - said Basha.
The head of the Euro-Atlantic Democrats stopped at the Rama-Berisha market, which began to be implemented with the failure of the electoral reform commission and continued with the amnesty, where 117 subjects of the prosecution and the court against crime and corruption benefited from it.
The next step is the merger of the Rama-Berisha votes against the opening of the lists in Parliament, which follows the early agreement between the current prime minister and the former prime minister, the one of 2008, which turned the country into a prime ministerial Republic, in which MPs are anonymous pawns of the presidents and their clients.
" Our proposals for Electoral Reform empower citizens and turn parliament into an institution that serves them. With 100% open lists, with the vote of the diaspora, with equality of votes and voting and electronic counting, we created the conditions for the dignity of the assembly to be established in the country, while the vote of the Albanians received the weight it deserves, returning the deputies to representatives of citizens, and not at the expense of the mayors and their clientele. But Rama and Berisha do not want this, so they do everything to cling to their 2008 agreement, which has destroyed parliamentarism and the fragile Albanian democracy. This will be crowned with the unification of the votes for the closing of the lists and with the efforts to give the right to vote in a controlled manner only to those Albanians who want them and to all those who live outside the country. In their old tango, the amnesty that freed the corrupt and jailed anti-corruption protesters was only the first stop, followed by the execution of the Electoral Reform commission, the June 11 stamp bargain, and more to come. with the bargain to close the lists and later, with the attempt to prevent SPAK from investigating corrupt politicians and officials.
