Reliable sources for Alfapress.al have confirmed that the Special Court has signed this Thursday the security measures requested by SPAK, for the mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj.
It has been learned that GJKKO has decided that Veliaj will not be allowed to leave the country and his passport will be blocked. He is also required to appear at the prosecutor's office.
For several months, Erion Veliaj is being investigated by the Special Prosecutor's Office for several criminal offenses: Corruption and abuse of office, property investigation as well as for the demolition of the National Theater.
