The Electoral Reform Commission holds its first constitutive meeting after its establishment in Parliament today at 12:00.

The majority and opposition, after the constitution, begin work on amending the electoral law. The agenda includes determining the number of technical experts and approving the request for technical support from the OSCE/ODIHR and the Venice Commission.

The formula of the Electoral Reform Commission provides for co-leadership between the majority and the opposition, while 7 members belong to the SP, 5 to the DP, 1 to the PSD, 1 to the Republican Party, 1 to the Freedom Party, and 1 to the Opportunity Party.

The Together Movement and Albania Becomes MPs may participate for discussions, but without the right to vote. The commission will be co-chaired by Damian Gjiknuri from the Socialists with Oerd Bylykbashi from the Democratic Party, who have the right of veto.
