20 ballot boxes counted in Berat, socialist candidate ahead of opposition-backed candidate

About 20 ballot boxes have been counted for the local by-elections in the Municipality of Berat.

According to initial information, from the counting of 17 ballot boxes in KZAZ-67 in Berat, it results that SP candidate Ervin Ceca received 2,339 votes, while independent candidate Pavllo Shkarpa has 465 votes.

In total, there are 44 ballot boxes that are expected to be counted.

In the local by-elections in the Municipality of Berat, 19.98% of citizens participated, a relatively low turnout.
