The DP requested the expulsion of Taulant Balla from Parliament, the Ethics

The Ethics Secretariat in the Assembly has rejected the Democratic Party's request to expel Taulant Balla from the Assembly.

The argument states that in order for Article 65/1 for exclusion to apply, other measures must have been issued by the President of the Assembly.

The Socialists also argue that Taulant Balla publicly apologized in the plenary session.

In the request signed by the leaders of the opposition group, the DP argued that in the plenary session of November 6, the chairman of the SP parliamentary group used "insulting and threatening language towards opposition MPs", in violation of the Assembly's regulations and parliamentary ethics.

According to the document, Balla, during the discussion on the approval of the Assembly's calendar and work program, "used expressions such as 'bark', 'these people', 'I'll tell you', 'liar', etc." which are considered disciplinary violations under Article 65 of the Assembly's regulations.
