"OSHEE Charge" Project, Balluku: We are in a new phase of

The "OSHEE Charge" project, the new service for charging electric vehicles, was presented by Prime Minister Edi Rama and Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.

Balluku emphasized that OSHEE is entering a new phase of development and underlined the importance of strengthening human capacities to face future challenges.

Balluku further said that the foreign investment portfolio in the country has reached 16 billion euros more compared to a decade ago.

"Advancement in market liberalization, separation of operators, has been a long process that we have done together in 2019, with many questions about how we would manage with the separate companies."

OSHEE is today the parent company, we have created other companies. According to the report, progress has also been noted in energy efficiency.

This progress is the fruit of joint work, increasing transparency.

I would refer to a BoA report regarding the contribution of energy to foreign investments.

Energy is in first place as a contributor to foreign investments in our country, the second is the extraction sector.

Both portfolios of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy. 16 billion euros of foreign investments in our country are more than a decade ago.

"To leave no door open for rhetoric, we have increased by 52% in foreign investment in the energy sector alone. Today in the extraction sector we have a contribution that is 162% higher than five years ago," said Balluku.
