Rama finds the solution for massacres like Rinas': We will bring some cameras from Arabia...

The assassination that occurred two days ago near Rinas airport, apart from being an investigative lead for conflicts between criminal gangs, has not produced any other details regarding the assassins who unleashed a barrage of Kalashnikovs in broad daylight in one of the most populated and guarded areas in the capital.

In an interview for "Real Story" with journalist Sokol Balla, Prime Minister Rama said that Albania lacks smart cameras, for which work is being done with the United Arab Emirates with the aim of installing an intelligent monitoring system.

"What we clearly lack at this moment is the increase in capacities for monitoring and identifying perpetrators, and we have practically put in place this process that has been delayed for some time due to bureaucratic reasons on the part of the State Police and the Ministry of Interior, which is the process of digital transformation of monitoring with intelligent cameras of the country's streets and cities.

"So the project is ready, the financing has been made available, the company is one of the best in the world, the system has been tested in the United Arab Emirates with extraordinary success and I hope that in the coming weeks the work will finally begin and the time for implementation and the start of the system's operation is 12 months and then we will be at a completely different level in terms of capacities to identify and react to evildoers of any kind," said Rama.

After the murder, the assailants traveled towards Fushë-Krujë, heading for the village of Halil, where their vehicle was found burned. During the perpetrators' movement, sources from the investigation group informed that the road they were traveling on did not have electricity and for this reason or another, the cameras did not film.

It seems that the state's failure in this case is great, considering the high level of interference that the assassins have made in the security system. The assassination was carried out in an area surrounded by businesses and the event was filmed, but how the assassins lost track remains unclear.
