"Albania does not deserve the old tango between Rama and Berisha",

In the Euronews interview, Lulzim Basha said that the debate about the stamp should end as Albanians have bigger problems, such as unemployment, immigration, living costs and low wages. For him, it is essential that the debate is only about people and finding solutions to the problems that concern them.

Basha also said that "if citizens think that Albania and Albanians deserve more than a return to the paradigms of dictatorship, then they have and will have the vision of the Euro-Atlantic democrats, they have our alternative".

Excerpt from the interview:

The first of the work for the stamp, I have been saying for 2 years, don't talk to either the Democrats or the Albanians because we are tired of them. They have other problems, they have unemployment, they have immigration, they have the cost of living, they have low wages, they have insecurity for their children, they have the properties that they have not received for 34 years and other injustices that affect all layers of society. . This is about the seal issue.

On the other matter, whenever I get a chance my debate will be substantial, it will be for the people. At the end of the day what I do and the main motivation I have is to serve people. And I have been of little service to them whenever I have been given the opportunity.

But in order to serve them in a democracy, there must undoubtedly be a substantial debate. Let's get away from the false debate, the barren debate, the cracks that produce nothing but the next bazaar. Let's give the Albanians a real debate, with some very simple questions: why are we here? Who is responsible for this? Can you get out of this situation? How to get out of this situation? Who will get us out of this situation and why?

This is the debate they want to deny to the Albanians with the old tango of the prime minister and former prime minister. Undoubtedly, we can do this without a debate. We have been doing it for 45 years. There was no debate, Enver Hoxha did not allow debate. If someone thinks that it is a better way to live, he also has an alternative, let him vote for the Communist Party. Shut up, keep your head down, don't argue. In fact, they don't even need to vote for them because there are the offspring of the Communist Party, one prime minister, the other former prime minister. They have them there, they pretend to have a debate, but there is no debate, there is no decision-making, there is no opportunity. A handful of people continue to keep Albania as their fiefdom.

But if they do not want this, if they think that Albania and the Albanians deserve more than a return to the paradigms of dictatorship, then they have and will have the vision of the Euro-Atlantic democrats, they have our alternative.
