SPAK takes on defendant Majlinda Bufin

The file is closed and sent to court: he is accused of "Using public office for political activity"

The Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) has finalized the investigation against the Mayor of Roskovec, Majlinda Bufi, by officially taking her into custody and sending the file to the Special Court for a preliminary hearing.

Sources for the Timoni.al portal confirm that SPAK is charging Bufi under Article 328/a/3 of the Criminal Code – “Use of public office for political activity” – an offense related to the use of local government for political and non-institutional interests.

Today, the file was officially registered with the Special Court, marking the completion of the investigation and the transition of the case to the trial phase. This means that SPAK has closed all investigative actions and has decided that the evidence is sufficient to bring the case before the trial panel.

Majlinda Bufi, one of the well-known names in the local government in Roskovec, is facing criminal charges from SPAK for the first time, which is expected to create strong political movements in the region and at the central level./ Timoni
