SPAK "vetting" Berisha/ The Special Prosecutor's Office followed

How was former prime minister Sali Beisha corrupted by his son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi? In order to raise such a charge, SPAK has conducted a financial investigation tracking every income of Malltez, Argita Berisha and every member of the family connected to them.

Just like the vetting bodies that have administered hundreds of self-declaration reports at the ILDKPI for the people of justice, SPAK has also used against Berisha the periodic statements submitted by him in the capacity of deputy since the self-declaration of assets started.

Starting from the debts that the former prime minister claimed he owed to his son-in-law, such as 15,000 euros for consulting services and 19,000 euros for lawyer services in France on the Antony Blinken case.

But also other payments deposited in the bank by the daughter, which include medical services of 13 thousand euros, but also the annual vacations of the couple Sali and Liri Berisha of 3 thousand euros, paid by Malltezi declared by the couple Berisha. As well as 126 thousand dollars and 413 thousand euros in expenses to liquidate a law firm.

SPAK says that the Berisha family has accessed and benefited from the Malltezi family's income by carrying out various expenses that cannot be covered by the girl's income. But in order to come to this conclusion, the two prosecutors Arben Kraja and Enkelejda Millonai have traced the income of the Malltezi couple, since the time when they worked in Kosovo and when they then moved to Albania.

This happened according to the SPAK at the time when Sali Berisha assumed the office of the prime minister and when five owner families, including Malltezi, were favored according to the SPAK for the acquisition of property, which was removed from the category of properties of the Ministry of Defense.

But it remains unclear why charges have not been brought against other former officials, or ordinary employees who are mentioned to have violated the law by acting contrary to the law.

SPAK says, among other things, that the minister of the time Gazmend Oketa signed an audit in the form of pressure on the support command, which rejected the Partizani football club. But even though it finds such a fact, the file does not show that the former official's position is in difficulty.

Neither did the former president Bamir Topi who decreed the removal of the former commander by decreeing another general who carried out the order. Nor is the ex-soldier in a criminal position, unlike the officials that SPAK mentions that they estimated the Partizani Multi-Sports Club below the cost and that, according to SPAK, caused the state a loss of 436 million ALL.

However, the investigations are not closed yet. Sali Berisha says that SPAK, in the capacity of the country's prime minister and with the duty to serve the citizens, has chosen to give the laws the form that suits the interests of his family, which was set in motion by Fatmir Bektashi, who corrupted Malltez and this last father-in-law.
