
May 11th Elections / Since January, 48 reports have been addressed to SPAK for various electoral crimes

Despite the fact that the platform for electoral crimes was launched about 1 month ago, citizens have started reporting electoral crimes since the beginning of this year.
Referring to the figures provided by the television, it results that since January, 48 denunciations of various electoral crimes have been addressed.
The number increased even more when SPAK opened the platform for complaints.
Based on this, the investigators who have already been tasked with the task have begun reviewing the materials and further procedures.
Despite the high number of reports, some of them are incomplete, both in terms of evidence and arguments presented in the report. It is learned that there are also reportable materials for institutions.
DUMAN'S MEETING IN DURRA
The Head of the Prosecution Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Durrës, Suela Beluli, held a working meeting yesterday with the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, in the premises of this institution, where the focus was on measures to prevent electoral crimes.
Also present were senior representatives of the Durrës DVP and prosecutors and officers assigned to the Temporary Special Section Against Electoral Crime of the Durrës Prosecution Office.
This meeting was organized within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between the Prosecutor General and the Director of SPAK "On efficient mutual communication and mutual cooperation regarding investigations into criminal offenses during the electoral period of the 2025 Albanian Parliamentary elections".
According to the media release, the parties discussed the importance of rapid response, effective coordination and information sharing between institutions, with the aim of identifying and prosecuting any action that violates the integrity of citizens' free vote.
Within the framework of the cooperation agreement, prosecutors and investigators of the Special Prosecution Office will be provided with facilities at the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of General Jurisdiction, Durrës.
Investigators from the National Bureau of Investigation will be present on the ground and ready to receive any reports or information from citizens regarding suspected criminal activities related to the elections. Their presence is an additional guarantee of the transparency and seriousness with which the institutions are treating this process, so the Prosecutor's Office encourages every citizen to cooperate and report any attempt aimed at violating the free vote.
The Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës reaffirms its commitment to closely cooperate with all law enforcement institutions and to take any necessary legal action to protect the right to vote and the integrity of the electoral process.
