Partial local elections in 6 municipalities of the country, Celibashi reveals how much the process will cost

The head of the Central Election Commission, Ilirjan Celibashi, has revealed how much the partial local elections in 6 municipalities in the country will cost.
Celibashi has stated that the electoral process for the 6 municipalities will cost around 3.6 million euros.
According to him, these funds are already secured thanks to savings made during the organization of the May 11 elections.
Celibashi: Since 2020, since I have been at the head of the CEC, our requests to the Assembly or the government for financing this institution or electoral processes have been accepted almost 100%. There have been no discussions, more or less. These elections cost about 3.6 million euros according to the latest calculations.
We have this amount available due to savings from budget expenditures for the May 11 elections, most of which is related to savings from the external voting process, from the contract with DHL.
