Cake with lemons and lemon cream

2 large lemons with thick skin

150 grams of sugar

175 grams of butter

175 grams of flour

50 g of almonds/chopped sticks

2 spoons of baking powder

3 eggs

For the cream on top:

The peel of 1 lemon,
the juice of 1 lemon,
100 g of powdered sugar


We will put the lemons in a pot of water to boil for 40 minutes approximately until the fork passes freely. Then we will remove the cores and grind them in a mixer.
Beat the butter with the sugar and then add the eggs one by one. Add almonds, grated lemons, flour and baking powder.
Stir the dough and add it to a pan with baking paper. We bake it at 180 degrees for approximately 45 minutes.
Let it cool and then add the sauce, which we make by mixing the juice, lemon peel and sugar.
