Desserts with yogurt and watermelon

This dessert with yogurt and watermelon is ideal to end a summer lunch or dinner with a lot of freshness.

With just a few simple ingredients, you will be able to prepare a very tasty dessert.

The secret is to wait for each layer to harden in the fridge, for at least 30 min.

The result will be a series of glasses with stripes, decorated with delicious chocolate chips, which will look like watermelon seeds.

Alfapress.al invites you to prepare this watermelon and yogurt dessert at home.

Ingredients

125 g yogurt
70 g
whipped cream 15 g powdered sugar
12 g gelatin
250 g watermelon pulp
Dark chocolate chips as desired

Preparation :

To prepare this dessert, start by soaking the doses of gelatin in 2 different bowls filled with cold water for about 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, heat two spoonfuls of whipped cream from the given amount in a pan for about 1 minute.

Then add the paneer to one of the bowls with the gelatin and mix well.

Combine the rest of the plantain with the powdered sugar, stirring well and continue adding the yogurt.

Stir well and start adding to it the previously prepared mixture of whipped cream and gelatin, which should be warm.

After you have stirred this mass well, start distributing it in glasses and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Store the remainder at room temperature.

Meanwhile, prepare the watermelon pulp. Start by slicing the watermelon and adding the recommended amount to a blender.

Process its slices until you obtain a puree, which you must then filter through a sieve to remove the seeds.

In a pot, heat 2 spoons of the obtained watermelon mixture for 1 minute and then add the remaining bowl of gelatin dissolved in cold water.

After mixing it well, add it to the rest of the watermelon puree.

After 30 minutes, take the yogurt cups out of the refrigerator and add the watermelon mixture, creating a layer the same thickness as the yogurt.

Put the glasses back in the fridge for 30 minutes and keep the rest at room temperature.

After this time, continue to form another layer with the yogurt cream and let it harden for another 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

Finish with a layer of the watermelon mass and let it harden for at least another 30 minutes and finally decorate the last layer with dark chocolate chips, as if they were watermelon seeds.
