Desserts are the last meal on the table, but we can say that in terms of preference they are the first.

190 g flour
170 g butter
150 g powdered sugar
1 lemon
4 eggs

To start preparing this recipe, AP advises you to first turn on the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees C.

Also prepare a 20 cm baking pan and line it with kitchen paper.

Meanwhile, pour 180 g of flour into a deep bowl, leaving two tablespoons aside for the filling, butter cut into small pieces, only 30 g of powdered sugar and the grated rind of a lemon.

Mix all the ingredients with an electric beater until you get a crumbly dough.

Do this until all the butter has melted, but without allowing the dough to form large lumps.

If lumps form, crush them with a fork and continue mixing.

Then, spread this crumbly dough that looks more or less like crumbled cookies on the pan you prepared.

Throw it all in there and start pressing it with your hands so that it sticks well to the pan and takes its shape.

Bake the dough for 20 minutes until golden.

While the dough is baking, mix the eggs in a bowl, add the flour you set aside, 120 g of powdered sugar and half a glass of lemon juice, from the one you peeled earlier.

Mix with an electric mixer until the whole mixture is creamy and thick to add to your cake.

After taking the dough out of the oven, immediately add the prepared cream and spread it well with a spoon.

For baking
Return your pan to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.

Let it bake until you see that the lemon filling has set and cooked through.

When you take it out, let it cool to room temperature, cut it into small squares and put it in the fridge for 2 hours.
