Child abuse and exploitation of prostitution, P Diddy will continue to stay in

US rapper P Diddy will remain in prison while he and his defense team make another bid for bail, a US federal appeals court has ruled.

P Diddy pleaded not guilty on September 17 to a three-count indictment accusing him of using his business empire, including the record label Bad Boy Entertainment, to exploit the prostitution of men and women.

Yesterday in his third court appearance since his arrest in September, P Diddy, known in the 90s as Puff Daddy and considered the number one in Hip Hop music, was told that he will face court on May 5.

The hip-hop mogul has been incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since his arrest. He faces up to life in prison and a minimum of 15 years if convicted of three counts: racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and engaging in prostitution.

Three weeks ago, a judge at a hearing denied a request by P Diddy's defense team to post a $50 million bond on the condition that the 54-year-old rapper be placed under house arrest at his Florida residence that will it included GPS monitoring and strict restrictions on visitors.
