Daniel Craig has recently confessed that he was jealous of other actors.
In an interview with MailOnline, the 56-year-old admitted that he "still envies other actors when they get jobs that he wanted".
Craig, who is soon to star in the film Queer, said: “I get jealous all the time, of any actor who gets a job that I would like but take. Someone gave me some great advice earlier - don't be bitter."
In the same interview, the actor, who played James Bond in five films, also revealed that he initially turned down the chance to play James Bond. While revealing the reason behind this, Craig shared that he feared it might limit other opportunities for him in the film industry.
The "No Time to Die" star was asked if he was nervous about taking on the role of Bond, to which he said: "Yeah, for sure. That's why I turned it down – I mean, I said, 'No.'
“There wasn't a script at the time, so again, my arrogance was unbelievable,” the Specter actor said, adding, “but I was like, 'Well, until I see a script, I can't make a decision. "
Craig noted: "I was making a pretty good living at the time, so if I had spent my life doing what I was doing then, I would have been more than happy."
