The family of the famous singer, Madonna, is in mourning. This is after the artist's brother, Christopher Ciccone, died of cancer at the age of 63. According to a statement from his family, Ciccone died peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones, including his husband, British actor Ray Thacker.

Madonna paid tribute to her brother with a post that showed their close bond and acknowledged the tumultuous nature of their relationship.

" He has been the closest person to me for so long. It's hard to describe our relationship. But he grew out of understanding that we were different. I did my best to keep him alive as long as possible. He was in so much pain by the end. Once again, we held hands, closed our eyes and danced together. I am glad that he is not suffering anymore, there will be no one like him - wrote Madonna.
