Why were the police called several times to Kris Jenner's 70th birthday party?

Kris Jenner's 70th birthday party was a raucous event that was even attended by police.

Police were reportedly called to Jeff Bezos' residence where the party was being held after numerous noise complaints from neighbors. According to TMZ, the decibel level reportedly increased significantly due to Bruno Mars' live performance. However, police only issued a warning.

Officers later returned to find large artificial hedges blocking the road outside the property. The dividers required a permit which had not been obtained so the greenery was removed and the partygoers left the party.

The momager turned 70 on Nov. 5 and had a James Bond 007 theme, as Page Six exclusively reported. The party, planned by longtime Kardashian family collaborator Mindy Weiss, drew an A-list crowd, including Oprah Winfrey, Chris Rock, Mariah Carey, Adele, Rich Paul, Tyler Perry, Snoop Dogg, Paris Hilton, Kathy Hilton and Vin Diesel.

Another famous couple in attendance was Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Harry, 41, looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo and bow tie, which he accessorized with a traditional poppy pin in honor of Remembrance Day next week. The former “Suits” alum, 44, dazzled in a long-sleeved black blouse and floor-length skirt, along with a black velvet bag.

Markle has been friends with the reality show clan for several years. Over the summer, she sent Jenner bottles of rosé wine from her As Ever launch.
