Prince Harry has responded to persistent rumors about his relationship with Meghan Markle, calling them inaccurate and unhelpful. In a recent interview with the New York Times DealBook Summit, he humorously commented on speculation surrounding the possibility of a divorce, saying:
It looks like we've bought and moved houses about 10 or 12 times. It also seems like we've been divorced maybe that many times.
When asked about his and Meghan's independent activities, Harry jokingly replied:
You invited me, you should have known.
When asked by the host if they considered these rumors normal, Harry explained that they are not happy with this level of interest and speculation.
This is not something good.
He added that he and Meghan have chosen to ignore the situation, feeling sorry for those who make up these stories. Harry also stressed that he and Meghan are very happy in their life in California, where they are raising their children.
