Profits from the match between Turkey and Georgia will be donated to the people

This Tuesday (20:45), Turkey will face Georgia in the fourth qualifying round for the 2026 World Cup in the European Zone. On this occasion, the TFF (Turkish Football Federation) announced to the press that it will not hold ticket sales for its national team. It indicated that it will use them to donate to the people of Gaza.

"The Turkish Football Federation's board of directors has decided to donate the proceeds from the Turkey-Georgia match, which will be played today in Group H of the 2026 World Cup European qualifiers, to the people of Gaza, who are suffering from a humanitarian tragedy."

We once again condemn this genocide that is being committed before the eyes of the whole world and invite all our supporters to support our Crescent-Star team with one voice and one heart during this match, which will start at 20:45 at Kocaeli Stadium.

In the first match, Turkey won 3-2 in Georgia. Another Turkish victory would punish the Georgians, who had qualified for Euro 2024, with a big win in order to hope to play in the 2026 World Cup.
