Lazio's footballer suffers from malaria, remains isolated in Dakar

A surprising news comes from Senegal for Lazio: Boulaye Dia has contracted malaria. The Senegalese Football Federation itself announced this in an official announcement:

"The FSF informs the public that the players Boulaye Dia and Lamine Camara have been left out of the squad for the match between Burkina Faso and Senegal, to be played on Thursday, November 14, 2024.

Boulaye Dia had an attack of malaria on the day of departure for Bamako, that is why he stayed in Dakar to continue treatment, he had adductor pain in the last two training sessions of the national team. The doctors of the national team are closely monitoring the state of health of both players".
