The English press has once again exploded against Jude Bellingham, despite England continuing their perfect march in qualifying with 8 wins in as many matches, 22 goals scored and none conceded.

The 22-year-old midfielder, named MVP in the 2-0 win over Albania, has been targeted this time for three alleged episodes: the lack of celebration of Harry Kane's goal, the unhappy reaction at the moment of substitution and a so-called kick to an opponent.

Captain Kane quickly reacted by sharing a photo of himself celebrating with Bellingham, while the alleged gesture was not filmed by any camera.

Thomas Tuchel also openly denied any aggression from his player. However, that didn't stop the British media from making the Real Madrid midfielder a target of criticism.

Among the harshest headlines stands out the Daily Mail's: "Selfish star is showing his true colors - his participation in the World Cup should be reviewed."

The debate began after the interpretation that Bellingham did not like being sent off in the 75th minute after receiving a yellow card.

According to England legend Ian Wright, it is an unfair campaign: "They attack him because they can't influence his career, he is untouchable to them."

The fact that Bellingham rarely gives interviews and doesn't play in the Premier League makes him one of the easiest stars to target by a section of the English media, which seems to be looking for every detail to create controversy around him.
