Kosovo/ Drenica defeats Balkan, Llapi draws

The first two matches of the 13th week of the Kosovo Super League have been completed, bringing very interesting duels.

Drenica achieved a great victory against Balkan at the "Bajram Aliu" stadium, with a score of 2:0.

The red and black team has continued its good form in the championship, recording its second victory in the last three matches, in addition to a draw.

The home team scored both goals in the second half. Initially, Udoyen Akpan scored in the 65th minute for a 1:0 lead, while just three minutes later, Kreshnik Uka scored the second goal for a final score of 2:0.

Thanks to this victory, Drenica climbs to fourth place in the standings with 18 points, while Balkan remains in second place with 23 points.

Meanwhile, in the other match held at the "Zahir Pajaziti" stadium, Llapi was held to a 1:1 draw against Prishtina e Re.

Tahir Batatina's team failed to take advantage of the home field advantage to get the three points, despite the attacking play during the second half.

The guests took the lead in the 14th minute with Elvis Prenç's goal, while Arianit Hasani equalized the score in the 51st minute for Llapi, a score that remained unchanged until the end.

This draw keeps Llapi in the middle of the table, while Prishtina e Re continues to struggle to move away from last place.
