Good news for Albania, three players will be absent from England's match on Sunday

Mark Guehi, Nick Pope and Anthony Gordon will miss England's final two World Cup qualifiers due to injury.

Guehi suffered a foot injury in Crystal Palace's midweek Conference League win, which left him unable to walk. Newcastle winger Gordon missed Sunday's defeat to Brentford with a hip problem, while goalkeeper Pope also suffered a concussion in the 3-1 defeat.

"Nick Pope has suffered a concussion and that's why we took him off. As soon as we were informed of that, he withdrew. He won't go with England. Antony has a minor injury so he will miss England," said coach Edie Hau.

England, who have already qualified for next year's World Cup, face Serbia at Wembley on Thursday before playing Albania in Tirana on Sunday. The England squad will gather today.
