Mesi remembers with nostalgia the "golden" times: I miss Barça, I hope the team achieves important successes like it used to
Leo Messi is happy at Inter Miami, but he still misses Barcelona and the Barca team.
In a statement for "Mundo Deportivo", the Argentine footballer opens his heart and admits that he misses the team of his life a lot. Lionel, who did not attend the 125th anniversary event due to his relationship with Laporta, although he also had a number of publicity commitments, recalls his great joys as a Barcelona player and makes his wish clear.
"That Barça can always go back to what it was. What I remember most are the collective titles we achieved. From those I have experienced, Guardiola's time as a coach, everything Ronaldinho meant with the 2006 Champions League and also the treble with Luis Enrique. There are two who won me the most, Pep and Ronaldinho. Guardiola, because we achieved incredible things, and Ronaldinho, because of the way he helped me, helped me a lot in my first moments in the first team. I also remember a lot of Iniesta or Xavi as friends and the three who play with me in Miami, like Busquets, Alba and Luis Suarez, who are also friends and of course, a special mention for Tito Vilanova, who we miss a lot. I hope that Barça can always return to what it was. I would love to see him win La Liga, the Cup and the Champions League again. And in the years we can't, at least compete until the last moment. We have to fight for all the titles".
Mesi continues to make it clear that he remembers the team of his life: "I miss Barça a lot. I hope to see you again soon", concluded Mesi.
